DIY Face masks you can make at home!
What could be more clean beauty than a face mask you made yourself! These are all totally edible too, what more could you want? No confusing ingredients in sight, just a feast for your skin.
1. Banana face mask for acne prone skin:
Ingredients:
- 1 mashed banana
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
Bananas are packed with Vitamin A which promotes skin cell renewal and helps pores to stay clean! Turmeric powder has antibacterial properties and baking soda absorbs excess oil in the skin.
2. Avocado face mask for dry skin:
Ingredients:
- 1 avocado
- 2 tablespoons plain yogurt (can use dairy-free alternative here like soy yogurt)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
The omegas and fatty acids in the avocado and olive oil are the perfect remedy for dry skin sealing up any cracks between skin cells. Soothing ingredients like honey and yogurt will have your skin feeling soft, plump and refreshed.
3. Lemon face mask for tired skin:
Ingredients:
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
The lemon and sugar will buff away dead skin cells while the olive oil hydrates the refreshed skin underneath, leaving skin looking bright and dewy.
