Highlight like a PRO

We all love cosmetic products that serve two or more purposes. Highlighter is not an exception: who wouldn’t like to be able to put all those sparkles all over their skin? If you’re a highlighter enthusiast like me, let me show you three different ways to use your highlighter.

The main purpose of a highlighter is to draw attention to the highest areas of your face. Although it was originally designed to highlight the cheekbones, the rest of the face and your body can also benefit from its application.

EYE AREA

Make your eyes look brighter and more open by applying highlighter in the inner corners of your eyes and on your brow bone. This will instantly lift your eyes up! Your eyes will appear more awake, and the shape of your eyebrows will be more defined. By the way, if you want more information about how to make your under-eye area brighter, check it out here.

LIPS

Using a highlighter on your lips might sound a bit extreme, but using it in the right spot will make a huge difference. Here’s how: Pat some highlighter on the Cupid’s bow for a fuller appearance, and apply a bit to the centre of the lips to make your lower lip look bigger. Use liquid highlighter as an alternative to lip gloss to give your mattes an extra shine. To avoid the mess, use a lip brush. You can check out the highest rated lipsticks on the app here.

LEGS

If you apply highlighter from the knee down, you’ll get a similar effect as when you use highlighter on the bridge of your nose-it will make your legs look longer and thinner. Pro Tip: Use a powder highlighter as liquids are more likely to inadvertently rub off on clothes.
